Black currant with high nutritional values is one of the healthiest fruits from the family of berries. The fruit tastes sour, therefore, it is generally paired with honey. Black currant is a plant whose seeds, leaves, fruits, and flowers all are used to make medicines. Black currant is extremely rich in vitamin C, which helps body to absorb iron. It boosts immune system, which helps to fight common diseases such as – cold, cough, flu and infections.
