She regularly provides tips on fitness and healthy diet. She recently shared her grandmother’s recipe “Jaggery and Coconut Poha” on her Instagram page. The recipe is easily cooked in just five minutes. The recipe includes ingredients such as – soaked Poha, softened jaggery, freshly grated coconut, ghee and roasted nuts. In order to prepare this dish, one has to put all the ingredients together and serve with a garnish of nuts. This recipe can be consumed as a light evening meal or even as a healthy dessert.
Poha is prepared by parboiling rice, before flattening it with steel rollers. Therefore, poha requires little or no cooking before it is ready to be consumed. Many people prefer to eat poha soaked in milk or water by seasoning it with salt and pepper or sugar, as it easily absorbs the liquids and is light for the stomach.
